The much-anticipated Shirui Festival 2022 is all set to open a new chapter in its history by introducing the first ever edition of Miss Shirui Lily 2022. It will be organised by the Seven Sisters Foundation in partnership with Konghang Events.
The Miss Shirui Lily was renamed from Miss Spring after getting the assent of the Shirui Festival 2022 Organising Committee and the headman of Shirui Village, Ukhrul district, said managing director of Miss Shirui Lily 2022 AR Mathing while talking to reporters on Friday at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.
The audition of the beauty pageant will be held from May 17 to May 19 ( May 17 in Ukhrul; May 18 in Imphal and May 19 in virtual mode), she said, adding that the virtual mode was introduced to give the opportunity to those staying outside the state without wasting ticket fare. Once they are selected for the grand finale they can book the ticket, she added.
The Shirui Festival 2022 is scheduled to be organised for four days from May 25 after being in hiatus for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
